Anyone Else Who Misuse the Power of Words?

Are you harnessing well the power of your own words to get what you want? Say this loudly, "I am a money magnet." Did you just speak truth? or falsehood? Your answer defines your results. Let me elaborate.

Misusing the power of words is like driving a Ferrari to pull your cart. You use up a lot of gas. What a waste! I'm not referring to the gas.

Henry Ford is quoted,
"If you think you can do a thing or think you can't do a thing, you're right."
That principle of the universe shocks a lot of people - to their core.

Gurus around the world quote him on this all the time. We have a choice about what we think is true about ourselves ... and this choice flows from the words we speak.

The power of one's own words is grossly under-recognized or underestimated. What happens therefore is that we -- I'd say, this includes me too -- sit on a machine that can search and find a gold mine for ourselves. The thing is, we don't know such machine exists.

Think of it this way --- you're driving a Ferrari to pull your cart and you don't know it. You only complain about the gas. What a waste, isn't it? I'm not talking about the gas.

For the moment, let's presume it's true that your words define your life. Just suspend any unbelief at the moment, and then examine the words you have spoken in the last 24 hours.

Before you do this, just close your eyes for a few seconds and just be still. Breath deeply three or four times, then open your eyes and focus on these questions:

  • Did I say, "I am prosperous"? or did I say, "My credit card debt is mounting."
  • Did I say, "I am living my life in absolute joy"? or did I say, "My life is spinning out of control"?
  • Did I say, "Everyday, in every way, I am getting better, and better and better"? or did I say, "I am a loser."

What were your answers? Whatever they may be, either way you are right, as Henry Ford may put it.

Now, imagine telling yourself that 7 days a week, 365 days a year --- don't you think what you say would manifest all the more?

Scary? or Exciting? Either way you see it, you are right.
